InsurTech Hippo to buy Spinnaker

Digital MGA Hippo has agreed to buy Spinnaker Insurance Company, a New Jersey-based P&C insurer that provides capacity to the InsurTech. 

Hippo has written on Spinnaker paper since 2017. Spinnaker-backed Hippo products are currently available in 18 US states, while Spinnaker is licensed in 50 states.
