NOAA notes rising billion-dollar weather events in 2010s

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has estimated US weather and climate events resulted in $45bn of economic losses in 2019, with almost half coming from flooding in the Missouri, Arkansas and Mississippi rivers.
