Arch Mortgage Insurance (Arch MI) has completed the first mortgage credit risk transfer since the Covid-19 pandemic began, securing $528mn of indemnity reinsurance from its latest Bellemeade Re 2020-1 ILS transaction, the company announced on Monday.
