Canada Life Reinsurance has signed a EUR5.5bn longevity risk reinsurance agreement with Netherlands-based insurer Vivat.
The deal encompasses 70 percent of EUR8bn of in-force liabilities and reinsures the liabilities of more than 150,000 in-payment and deferred pensioners.
