No Pillar profit in Q1 for Alleghany

Alleghany made no income from its investment in Bermudian ILS manager Pillar Capital during the first quarter.

The company has invested $200mn via its TransRe and other subsidiaries with Pillar after acquiring an ownership interest in the platform.
