US winter storm losses likely to exceed $10bn: AIR

Industry insured losses from widespread winter storms are likely to be in excess of $10bn, according to modelling agency AIR.

In a media advisory, the modeller said that it estimated an average claim for residential risks at $15,000 and around $30,000 for commercial risks.
