Longtime TransRe CEO Mike Sapnar will move into a senior position at the alternative asset manager Stone Ridge after he steps down from his position at the reinsurer, this publication can reveal.

TransRe announced earlier this month that Sapnar would step down “to pursue another opportunity” at the end of April, but his new role was not announced.
