Cresta reports two potential $1bn-plus cat events outside the US in 2021

Loss-data compiler Cresta reported a benign first quarter for international catastrophes, with only two events outside the US which have the potential to cost the industry more than $1bn.

They are the Fukushima earthquake in February and flood and storms that hit the Australian states of New South Wales and Queensland in March.
