NOAA predicts above-normal Atlantic hurricane season

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center has forecast another above-normal Atlantic hurricane season with between 13 to 20 named storms.

It predicted six to 10 storms would evolve into hurricanes and three to five major hurricanes were likely to strike but said it did not anticipate activity matching last year’s historic levels.
