Gallagher has confirmed the appointment of Aon’s Tom Wakefield as CEO of Gallagher Re, replacing Simon Behagg, who will transition to the role of managing director.

Wakefield will be responsible for leading the expansion of the reinsurance division’s existing operations, working alongside Behagg and the wider executive team.
