G7 lends backing to nature-related financial disclosures

Finance ministers from G7 countries have backed calls for financial institutions to provide a complete picture of their environmental risks and opportunities.

Ministers from the geopolitical group added their support to the recently launched Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), which aims to deliver a framework to organisations to report on evolving nature-related risks, in a bid to improve biodiversity.
