Cat bond rates increase 3% in Q2 with neutral pricing expected by year end: Lane

Cat bond rates on line increased by 3% in the second quarter, according to Lane Financial’s latest ILS report, marking a slight hardening of the market after its post-pandemic downturn.

But Lane Financial president Morton Lane and vice president Roger Beckwith said that, if there were no events over the coming months, they anticipated a flat year in terms of pricing changes.
