Tropical Storm Elsa is moving through Georgia after having made landfall in Taylor County along the North Florida Gulf Coast.

Reports said it brought heavy rain and strong gusts to the area as it hit the Big Bend region north of Tampa, while the National Hurricane Center (NHC) has discontinued its storm surge watch for the Florida Gulf Coast.
