Lancashire lifts third-party profit commission on 2019 results

Lancashire benefitted from $3.6mn of profit commission from its Lancashire Capital Management (LCM) division in H1 on the back of profits released from the 2019 portfolio, as its parent grew its top line by 41% in the first half of 2021.

The reinsurer had not earned any profit commission in the prior-year period. However, base LCM fee income was down by 11% to $2.4mn
