Investors’ questionnaires are increasingly designed to draw out the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) credentials of investment opportunities, and this growing focus has been raising a few challenges for ILS managers. On the one side, the questions asked don’t always fit easily with ILS products and on the other, some of the answers aren’t simple to formulate.
