Everest Re sidecar Mt Logan Re reported a 16% year-on-year increase in written premium for the second quarter of 2021, reaching $56.2mn in ceded written premiums for the period, according to a quarterly filing.

Despite this Q2 increase, the vehicle’s written premium figure for the first six months of the year was down 2% to $155.3mn.
