Willis Towers Watson has agreed a two-year non-compete with AJ Gallagher on reinsurance but excluding ILS advisory services.

The non-compete arrangement runs for two years after the close of Gallagher’s acquisition of Willis Re for $3.25bn.

Gallagher snatched the deal to purchase Willis Re last week out of the collapsed mega-merger of Aon and Willis.
