Dixie Fire destroys 1,200 structures, approaches Susanville

The Dixie Fire raging in California has destroyed more than 1,200 structures as the fire moves towards the town of Susanville.

The wildfire, the second-largest in California’s history, now extends over 626,751 acres and is only 31% contained, having been burning for 34 days, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
