AlphaCat CEO Brooks exits; AIG Re CEO Schaper to take the reins

AIG Re CEO Chris Schaper has been named CEO for Validus-owned third-party vehicle AlphaCat, following the departure of Paschal Brooks, who has led the business since 2019.

Brooks will remain with the company in a non-executive capacity through the beginning of 2022, AIG said in a statement.
