Perils lowers loss again for NSW and Queensland floods to A$751mn

Loss aggregation firm Perils has further reduced its loss estimate for the March floods in the Australian states of New South Wales and Queensland to A$751mn ($546mn).

Perils initially pegged the loss from the floods at A$1.05bn in the wake of the floods, reducing the estimate in June to $916mn.
