Markel Catco NAV drops to $91mn in H1

Catco Reinsurance Opportunities Fund’s total NAV fell to $91mn in H1, down from $111.8mn as of 31 December 2020, mainly due to the return of capital to shareholders.

NAV per share increased by approximately 8% for Ordinary shares and C shares during May 2021, owing to a reduction in loss notifications relating to the 2017 and 2018 California wildfires.
