Hannover Re has committed to achieving net-zero emissions across its business operations by 2030 and aims to do the same in its reinsurance portfolio and investments by 2050.

The carrier said that its targets aligned the business with the Paris Agreement on climate change, which aims to limit global warming to 1.5
