NZ Super Fund ups ILS allocation by 51% in second year of growth

The NZ Super Fund has increased its ILS allocation significantly for the second year in a row, taking it to NZD 776mn ($541mn) as of the end of June, 51% up on a year earlier in USD currency terms.

The sovereign wealth fund invests in natural catastrophe risks via Elementum and Leadenhall.

Most of the increased funds were held by Elementum.
