PIC challenges Markel Catco buyout

Pension insurer Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) has engaged legal counsel and is preparing to challenge Markel Catco’s proposed buyout of Catco fund investors.

In a statement, PIC said it was concerned that the proposed terms of the buyout drastically undervalued the interests of investors.
