Swiss funds PK SBB and BLPK post modest increases in 2020 ILS allocations

The Swiss rail pension scheme PK SBB increased its allocation to ILS by 1.8% in US dollar terms in 2020, up from CHF371mn ($383mn) to CHF345mn ($390m), its annual report showed.

The fund reported a loss of 7.0% from its ILS investments for the year, compared to a 2.9% gain in 2019, on the back of a high level of claims from Covid-19.
