Scor global P&C unit falls to Q3 EUR56mn loss on Ida and Bernd

Scor’s global P&C unit reported an operating loss of EUR56mn ($65mn) compared with a EUR119mn profit last year as it booked EUR343mn of losses from Hurricane Ida and Storm Bernd flooding.

The loss was better than the consensus of EUR151mn, with the Ida loss slightly lower than a Citi estimate and the Bernd impact roughly in line.
