Hiscox Re and ILS increased gross written premium by 5.6% to $806.5mn in Q3, supported by reinstatement premium income, as it continued to significantly boost net retained premium.

The carrier said “course correction actions, selective cyber appetite and less capacity deployed on behalf of others continued to impact the top line.”
