Australian pension fund MLC made a 4.8% return from its ~$700mn ILS portfolio in the 12 months to 30 September, despite some exposure to Hurricane Ida and European flood losses.

MLC’s latest investment update showed a 0.9% return from its ILS strategy for the quarter to 30 September.
