London-based manager Securis is to shutter its $500mn Securis I fund gradually, citing the “structural limitations” of mixing life and non-life risk in an open-ended fund, this publication has learned.

The fund is now closed to investor redemptions.

As positions mature, Securis will be returning capital to the remaining investors and offering them the opportunity to swap into other products.
