Twelve Capital hails independent future with new stakeholder

ILS manager Twelve Capital aims to invest in distribution and to develop its offering on climate change and natural catastrophe risk, as it begins a fresh chapter with a new minority investor, the Swiss bank Graubündner Kantonalbank (GKB).

Urs Ramseier, chairman at Twelve Capital, told Trading Risk that the transaction had brought in “a long-term, cornerstone shareholder”, as GKB has replaced former minority investor XS Investments, which had been looking to exit since 2016.
