Reinsurance rate increases brought ILS investors more projected gains in higher-risk portfolios in 2021 than for mid-risk funds, according to a report by Frontier Advisors.

Expected returns from higher-risk ILS portfolios increased by 0.8 percentage points from July 2020 to July 2021, from 7.2%
