Rate increases not enough to draw back ILS investors: Maloney

Lancashire CEO Alex Maloney has warned that ILS managers will struggle to attract investment unless they can prove they can provide a “sensible return”, as rate gains will not be enough to draw back investors.

In an interview with sister title Insurance Insider, Maloney said it was a “very difficult time to raise capital for any ILS fund”.
