Brickell agrees to acquire R&Q for £482mn

Brickell PC Insurance Holdings has agreed to acquire the entire issued ordinary share capital of Randall & Quilter (R&Q) for £482mn ($632.4mn), as well as provide $100mn of new equity funding to the business.

Brickell is to pay 175p per share. This price represents a roughly 20% premium to R&Q’s closing share price on 31 March, and a premium of around 17% to its 30-day average share price.
