Heritage preannounces $45mn in preliminary cat losses for Q1

Heritage Insurance Holdings has announced it expects to incur roughly $45mn in net current accident quarter catastrophe losses, nearly triple the $15.4mn it recorded in Q1 2021.

The Tampa, Florida-based carrier also said it expects $18.8mn in net current accident quarter other weather losses in the first quarter, up from $16.1mn
