NOAA forecasts above-average hurricane activity for 2022 season

Researchers at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) have predicted that there will be above-average hurricane activity this year, with a forecast of between 14 to 21 named storms for the 2022 season.

Of the 14 to 21 named storms for the 2022 season, the NOAA has predicted that 6 to 10 could become hurricanes, including 3 to 6 major hurricanes.
