HCI Group adds $100mn to $2.2bn reinsurance programme

HCI Group added about $100mn to its reinsurance coverage, putting in place $2.2bn for the 2022-23 treaty year.

The insurer expects to recognise net reinsurance premiums ceded of $247.3mn in the year to 31 May 2023, versus a projected $207.1mn
