Everest has hired Brent Hoffman as head of claims and COO for its reinsurance division, effective the end of July.

Hoffman, who will report to Everest Group COO and head of reinsurance Jim Williamson, will have the dual responsibility of overseeing some operational aspects and leading global reinsurance claims.
