Universal P&C has paused writing new homeowners' and DP policies in Florida's Seminole, Orange, Lake and Osceola counties, effective June 27, this publication has learned.

According to an agent letter seen by this publication, Universal has decided that for all policy forms, except forms HO4 and HO8, all roof types must be 15 years or newer to write new business in the following counties:...
