ILW uptake on rise as 1.7 renewals show signs of distress: Gallagher Re

Inflation, the looming global recession and a reduced appetite for cat business has driven up pricing in a number of regions at the 1 July renewal, according to Gallagher Re.

The intermediary’s 1.7 First View report, published today, found that while almost all buyers secured cover, many had to increase attachment levels and pay price increases to get programmes home.
