Insurers receive 4,360 claims related to NSW floods since 1 July

Insurers have received 4,360 claims related to the ongoing NSW floods since 1 July, according to the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA).

Of the claims received by insurers, 84% have been for property and 14.5% motor claims.

The ICA said it was too early to estimate the cost of the insured damage.
