United Insurance Holdings (UPC) has launched a strategic review as it became the latest Florida-focused insurance carrier to run into challenges operating in the Sunshine State’s homeowners’ market.

The company released a statement after markets today indicating that it had retained Insurance Advisory Partners – Tony Ursano’s boutique investment bank – and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP as its legal counsel to assist with the review.
