Former Cambridge Associates senior investment director Mark Wilgar has joined legacy insurer Riverstone International as head of manager research and selection, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Wilgar spent more than seven years at Cambridge Associates, where his coverage included ILS.

His new role is likely to be skewed towards non-insurance investments, given the legacy carrier’s exposure to underwriting risk on the liability side of its portfolio.
