Demotech warns 15+ Florida carriers of possible downgrade

Demotech has sent out letters to the Florida carriers it rates, advising that more than 15 of them are in danger of a downgrade, according to multiple industry sources.

The ratings agency has given the carriers until next week to respond, sources added. Demotech is expected to tie up ratings confirmations by the end of July.
