Peter Zaffino has brought Charlie Fry, a key former lieutenant who was an early part of the revamped AIG leadership team, back into the business after a gap of almost two years.

The company said today that Fry would rejoin as executive vice president, reinsurance purchasing and risk capital optimization effective July 31.
