Oz pension fund Challenger Life ups alternatives allocation by 19%

Australia pension fund Challenger Life grew its allocation to alternatives by 19% in US dollar terms to A$1,366.3mn ($943mn) in its financial year to 30 June 2022, compared to A$1,054.3mn ($791mn) as of 30 June last year.

The increase was driven by upping the allocation and by valuation gains, across general insurance-related investments and absolute return funds.
