Perils pegs European February storm cost at EUR3.7bn

Perils has increased its estimate for the insured loss caused by European windstorms hitting the UK and Continental Europe in mid-February to EUR3.7bn ($3.7bn).

This figure comes after Perils estimated in May that the storms would have caused EUR3.6bn in damage.
