Bermudians grew NWP by 21% to $98.6bn in 2021: ABIR

Bermuda-based carriers' net written premium rose by 21% to $98.6bn in 2021, the Association of Bermuda Insurers & Reinsurers (ABIR) reported.

The association said NWP benefited from market growth and improving underwriting conditions as well as the deployment of approximately $19bn of risk capital introduced by Bermuda start-ups and scale-ups.
