R&Q Insurance Holdings said its Gibson Re sidecar contributed $8.8mn of fee income in H1, as it outlined an ambition to launch additional vehicles once the $300mn of capital in Gibson Re is fully deployed.

R&Q launched Gibson Re in September last year, with the aim of generating recurring fee income for the firm.
