Markel's global reinsurance president and CUO Jed Rhoads will retire at the end of 2022. Don Bahr will take over as president of the division, while Tod Costikyan will become the division CUO.

Rhoads joined Markel in 2013 as part of its acquisition of Alterra Capital Holdings Limited and has held executive positions with several organizations.
