Ratings agencies were generally positive on the prospects for the ILS market to grow in the coming years, despite investor fatigue with poor average industry results.

Moody’s has argued that higher reinsurance pricing will attract institutional investor capital and lead to alternative reinsurance capital breaking through the $100mn mark in the next few years.
